HILDE LOUISE ASBJØRNSEN is one of our most versatile artists; a multiple Award-winning jazz chanteuse, singer-songwriter, actress, comedian, cabaret artist and writer. She is often compared to the likes of jazz legends Edith Piaf and Billie Holiday.

She has extensive stage experience; Her stage record includes the Emcee from Cabaret, Roxie Hart in Chicago, Mrs Adelaide in Guys and Dolls and Ulla in The Producers, the latter which gave her a 2011 Comedy Award.

Hilde Louise has released 10 critically acclaimed jazz albums. They primarily include her own music but also covers, both in Norwegian and English. Accompanied by her eminent band, she is an absolute firework on stage.

Her own production The Lulu Show: Life on the never-never, written and performed by Hilde Louise herself, ran for three years at Oslo’s theatres and gave Hilde Louise a Comedy Award for Female Stage Comedian of the Year. The Lulu Show played 24 shows at 2017’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival and received glowing reviews (see below).

In late spring of 2019 she will release her latest album. Stay tuned!

Hilde Louise performs with various ensembles: duo, trio, Hilde Louise Quartet and Hilde Louise Orchestra. She is an experienced and much sought-after presenter and hostess.
